Is CTOS a government agency?

No. CTOS is a private credit reporting agency registered under the Credit Reporting Agencies Act 2010.

What is a CTOS Credit Report?

A CTOS Credit Report shows your credit score, payment history, legal records, and other credit-related data used by banks and lenders to evaluate your financial reliability.

Can I check someone else’s CTOS score?

Only with their consent. Otherwise, it’s confidential and restricted to the individual.

Will checking my score affect my credit rating?

No. Checking your own credit report does not impact your score.

How often should I check my CTOS score?

It’s advisable to check at least once every 3 to 6 months, especially before applying for loans or credit cards.
